We ship French Soap Wholesale orders from France to retailers in the UK, across Europe and worldwide.
Dispatch times
We normally aim to dispatch orders within 3–6 working days.
Most wholesale orders are carefully prepared and dispatched from Marseille by the same family business that makes our soaps. Smaller shipments—including sample packs, display boxes and replacement items—may instead be sent directly from our premises in Lussac-les-Châteaux.
Whichever route your parcel takes, French Soap Wholesale manages your order and remains your point of contact throughout.
If an item is temporarily unavailable or there is likely to be a delay, we’ll contact you as soon as possible.
A note about our naked soaps
Our traditional French soaps are supplied naked, without individual packaging, just as you would find them on a French market stall.
Because the soaps are packed and transported together, an occasional bar may arrive with a small surface mark, rub or light scratch. These marks are purely cosmetic and normally disappear as soon as the soap is first used. They do not affect the quality, fragrance or performance of the soap and are part of the character of an authentic, unpackaged product.
For this reason, minor cosmetic surface marks are not considered product damage and do not normally qualify for replacement or credit.
If a soap has suffered genuine damage in transit — for example, it is broken, badly chipped or otherwise unsuitable for sale — please contact us and we will of course deal with it appropriately.
Shipping costs
Delivery charges are calculated according to the destination and weight of your order.
Available delivery options and charges will be shown during the ordering process.
Orders are normally shipped using established carriers such as DHL, FedEx or an equivalent courier service.
If you would prefer to arrange collection with your own courier, please contact us at orders@frenchsoapwholesale.com and we’ll be happy to help.
Orders over 100 kg
For larger wholesale orders, please contact us for a tailored shipping quotation before placing your order.
UK deliveries
For orders entering the UK, UK VAT is normally collected by the courier on import.
Import VAT is not an additional or special tax — it is simply the UK VAT due on the goods when they enter the country.
The courier may also charge a small administration or customs-clearance fee. This is usually relatively modest, typically around £10–£15.
Deliveries outside the European Union
For other destinations outside the EU, any applicable import taxes, duties or customs charges are the responsibility of the customer.
Import rules vary from country to country, so customers should check any local requirements that may apply before ordering.
Other international destinations
If your country is not currently available at checkout, please contact orders@frenchsoapwholesale.com for a delivery quotation.
Delivery times
Transit times vary according to destination and courier service.
Any delivery times we provide are estimates rather than guarantees, as customs processing, carrier delays and other circumstances can occasionally affect delivery.
